Hunting for Whitetail Deer Shed Antlers

The late winter doldrums set in when the whitetail deer season is over and the spring turkey season hasn't begun. They can seem to last forever, but our family has found a great way to beat them. We go hunting for shed antlers!

This is one activity my daughter and I really enjoy. Plus sometimes we get really cool surprises. I'm always carrying my camera and was lucky enough to catch these whitetail bucks still carrying their antlers in early March.
